I am the President and Investment Advisor Representative at A2 Investment Solutions, where I manage the firm and serve as the chief financial advisor. With over 13 years of experience in the financial services industry, I earned my MBA from Michigan State University in 2002, JD from Michigan State University in 1994, and BA from Oakland University in 1989. Before entering the financial planning world, I managed a law firm for 16 years representing women in family law and divorce matters. I am licensed in insurance/annuities, as well as Series 7 and Series 66, and hold a National Social Security Advisor (NSSA) Certificate*. As a testament to my prior work, I am also a member of the State Bar of Michigan.
My passion is to serve our clients and prepare the best possible financial and retirement plans for them, sticking with them for their entire lives. Our firm's niche market focuses on representing women, and now over 60% of our clientele are women. I enjoy sitting down with clients and prospects to learn about them and plan ways to improve their financial situations.
Outside of work, my main passions are spending time with my children and fiancée, doing charitable and community service work, and staying healthy by exercising and cooking vegan food.
*The National Social Security Advisor (NSSA) certification is obtained by completing eight hours of coursework, passing a certification exam, and requires sixteen hours of biennial continuing education. The NSSA certification is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Social Security Administration or any other government agency.
