Risk Tolerance: What’s Your Style? Retiring in a Post-Pandemic World Dreaming Up an Active Retirement

A2 Investment Solutions, LLC

A Family Retirement Planning Firm Since 1963!

My father, Joseph S. Okros, started our Family Retirement Planning Firm in 1963 at the age of 22. He and my mother, Cookie, had married the year before and had their first baby, my sister Michelle, on the way.  A year later I was born.  Starting with a humble beginning, my father built our Family Firm into a client-focused enterprise built on honesty and integrity, always placing the best interests of our clients first.  My father first started building our Family Firm in Macomb County and then in 1979 he moved our offices to Clarkston.  I graduated from law school in 1993.  I practiced and managed a law firm through 2009.  In 2010 I joined my father in our Family Firm.  I opened our Ann Arbor office in 2014, while my father has managed our Clarkston office.  I am a licensed Investment Advisory Representative which designates me as a Fiduciary for our clients, thereby supporting clients and upholding their best interests.  We are also licensed life insurance producers.  A2 Investment Solutions provides full financial, long-term care and retirement planning.  We maintain a complete product line of actively managed brokerage accounts, as well as, annuities, life insurance, long term care products and disability insurance.  We have steadfastly represented our clients through the full gamut of market uncertainties; including, but not limited to:  The flat market of the 1960s, the oil crisis of the 1970s, the recession of the early 1980s, the market crash of 1989, the dot-com bubble burst of the early 2000s, the market crash of 2008, and now through the current turmoil of 2020.  Through all the ups and downs the markets and economy has to offer, we consider it an honor and a privilege to help our clients work towards making sound investment decisions that will contribute toward a secure future.  Fiduciary duty extends solely to investment advisory advice and does not extend to other activities such as insurance or broker dealer services. Advisory clients are charged a monthly fee for assets under management while insurance products pay a commission, which may result in a conflict of interest regarding compensation.
